Pope in Old City Philadelphia

Welcome to the Catholic Resources of the American Bible Society where you will find bible centered videos, printed resources, and related services. We have been around since the birth of this country with founders such as Francis Scott Key and others. We are all about making the Bible available to every person in a language and format each can understand and afford, so all people may experience its life-changing message.

Our active partners include national organizations such as USCCB, Encuentro, and The Catholic Prison Ministry Coalition, dioceses such as Bridgeport, Newark, Brooklyn Dallas, Orange, Phoenix, and New York, and collaborative initiatives with several Catholic producers and presenters.

Catholic Resources

We have tried to create niche resources that do not compete with the many wonderful and powerful resources produced by Catholic publishers for the catechetical community.

Our resources are designed to be used by individuals in their own place and at their own pace as well as in parish gatherings or virtual small group formats.

A lot of our resources are FREE and are in both English and Spanish thanks to the donations made by others who believe in the value of bible engagement.

The book offers privileged insight into the thinking of Pope Francis and the priorities fueling his papacy—above all, his willingness to listen to and avoid the judgment of those whose deepest convictions differ from his own.
